Swish Vintage has stolen my heart. I can not walk in there without finding some treasure or another that I have to make mine. This time it was a skirt on a mannequin in the window. A wrap swing skirt, black with little white flowers, red lining along the inside, and a very full skirt -no crinoline necessary, only if you really want it.

This skirt was apparently handmade in Italy in the 70s. The construction is divine and it is in mint condition. I can not believe I scored this skirt and that no one else had snatched it up yet! It fits me perfectly too…it was fate! Its a very 50s style which is why I love it so much!

I wore it last Saturday when the sun was shinning and it was a beautiful early summer day. I headed down to a local park to soak up some rays and took advantage of the sunshine to snap a few photos…not the best, but they will do!70s32This is the perfect summer skirt. I know I am going to wear it all season long and then into the winter with tick tights and boots. I would probably style it a bit different if I were heading out with some gals or painting the town red (as I do) however this particular Saturday was a lazy, relaxed kind of day, to which this skirt was perfect for.

The red lining makes it fun to style. I wore a chunky vintage red bracelet, a german made brooch, and red hair flowers.
